Enterprise Design

A spatially enabled enterprise information system is an interoperable and integrated set of data and application services that support spatial and non-spatial business functions. The spatially enabled enterprise transcends traditional organizational boundaries to create communities of interest, data, knowledge, information, and intelligence.

GeoAnalytics helps organizations plan, design, and implement spatially enabled systems. In creating these systems we focus on two objectives: First, to streamline the maintenance and use of disparate business systems and data across business boundaries through integration; second, to leverage the spatially enabled enterprise to optimize operations and build new value through business intelligence and predictive analytics.

The Benefits

Strategic Outcomes – Purposeful design makes IS a strategic resource that aligns mission, values, vision, strategy, and action to effect and improve the business objectives of public and private organizations.

Efficiency – Thoughtful design creates many economies of scale in the management and use of data and information systems and in creating intelligence frameworks that optimize operations.

Effectiveness – Good design incorporates business process improvement, consistency, and repeatability; strengthening and sustaining the organization and individuals without dependencies.

Enhanced Decision Making – The spatially enabled enterprise not only brings the most complete, current, and accurate information to bear on decisions and operations, it also provides predictability by accurately modeling processes, systems, and, in turn, outcomes based on past experience and new intelligence.

Why GeoAnalytics?

Integration and Interoperability – Our approach to system implementation emphasizes modularity, integration, and interoperability to provide superior scalability. We also help advance systems by strengthening program governance, leadership, and operational management.

Emphasis on Intelligence – Beyond the enterprise, we seek to create intelligence frameworks that optimize outcomes while creating new value for shareholders/taxpayers, customers, employees, and, indeed, communities at large.

Solid System Development Methodology – We employ technical and project management methodologies to ensure the successful design, development, and rollout of the spatially enabled enterprise. These include industry-recognized tools such as the Unified Process (UP) and critical elements like process, risk, and quality control management.
