GeoAnalytics Retained By The City of Carlsbad for Development Services Information Systems Plan
March 2008 – GeoAnalytics has been retained by the City of Carlsbad, California to provide professional consulting services to assist the City with a Development Services Information Systems Plan.

The scope of the project will include four phases. First, GeoAnalytics will conduct an issues and opportunities analysis that includes an assessment, interviews, and fact investigation to determine organizational and user needs, with an emphasis on the review of the City’s Development Services processes and technology. Potential improvements at the City include permitting and related processes, project status tracking, data maintenance, addressing and parcel processing, integration with GIS, and external communications. Second, GeoAnalytics will collect information through the assessment process to develop a cost benefit analysis for the City.

Next, a high level conceptual system design for an operational system will be developed. The conceptual design will create a consensus-driven vision for the enterprise architecture, including major system components such as databases, technology infrastructure, and organizational arrangements for system management and governance. The final phase of the project will be the creation of a strategic implementation plan. The plan will establish a sequence of recommended activities, cost estimates and timelines; to guide deployment and integration of IS components based on the conceptual design.

“This project focuses on one of the major recommendations of a performance audit done on our development services process – develop a plan to use technology more effectively to provide better service to our customers, for now and in the future.” said Karl von Schlieder, City of Carlsbad GIS Manager.

GeoAnalytics Retained By Troy, Ohio to Implement Cityworks
January 2008 – GeoAnalytics has been retained by the City of Troy, Ohio to implement Azteca Systems’ Cityworks Asset Maintenance Management System (AMMS).
